Rainy Sunday’s
Yesterday
around 9:30 a.m. I received an email from Stephanie (one of my Brides-to-be
that had booked me earlier).
“Good
morning. I see it’s raining, and will be the majority of the day. Are we
shooting outside or indoors?”
I let her
know that we will be shooting in both, and I asked her if she was wearing a
long dress. Wouldn’t want the wet
weather to mess up her dress, right?!
She let me
know that she would be wearing a long dress. Uh Oh…
So, I asked her
would she like to reschedule….
“No, if we
are still able to get a good shoot, we can keep it!” She replied.
“I believe
we can” I stated.
So, we
decided to do the shoot and meet up at 3p.m. on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Ponce City
Market here we come!!!
I packed up
all my equipment, my kids and my husband (aka my uber driver) and we hit the
road.
When we got
to Ponce City Market, we decided to get some hot cocoa and coffee at The
Dancing Goat, while we waited. Let me tell you, if you have never been there
before, you have to try it. It is a cute, cool coffee shop.
So, 3:00 hit
and Stephanie and Bobby are here at Ponce City Market… and what decides to
happen? Here comes the rain.. (it was more like a mist). But it decided it wasn’t
going anywhere…but Stephanie decided that she wasn’t going anywhere either!
So what did
we do? We captured a beautiful Save the Date session.
I really
enjoyed working with this beautiful couple. They remind me of why I do this in the first
place!
Not only did
I get to meet two new people, I got to see two people that love each other and
want to spend the rest of their life together….to become one!
I also got
to introduce my two new friends to a new date spot. They fell in love with
Ponce City Market just like I did.
Thank You to
Stephanie and Bobby for trusting me with their vision!
“ You never
know what can happen on a Rainy Sunday afternoon, put on your rain boots and go
outside and play!”
